YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Foster’s Art Theater on Glenwood Avenue is on the list of places a local entrepreneur can turn around.
John Watkins wants to turn adult entertainment theater into a concert venue.
The building has existed since the 1930s and can accommodate over 500 people.
Watkins said it would be the perfect concert venue on the south side of town.
“I know that downtown has the amphitheater and the Covelli Center, but I want to do something like the center and heart that I grew up in,” he said.
Watkins has the building inspected next week and said his plans would then go from there.
